of pharmaceutical raw materials. Originally a non-air-conditioned space, the warehouse was
upgraded with a new air conditioning system, cold storage, and racking systems. A
suspended ceiling was also introduced as part of the retrofit, which required reconfiguration
of the fire protection systems, including additional sprinkler heads and fire alarm devices.
SCOPE OF WORK : SILFire was appointed to conduct a comprehensive fire and life safety review in line with the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, with references to NFPA standards. centers, and redundant utility systems to ensure high availability and uninterrupted
operations.
SCOPE OF WORK : SILFire was entrusted with delivering advanced Passive Fire Protection (PFP) systems for the Moro Hub data center, focusing on safeguarding critical infrastructure and ensuring business continuity in the event of fire. Our scope included fire-rated compartmentation for electrical rooms, server areas, cable risers, and service corridors to prevent fire and smoke migration. We developed Engineering Judgements (EJ) for complex cable tray penetrations and movement joints in line with UL/ASTM standards and UAE Fire and Life Safety Code.
